Programme Manager - Public Sector / Business Change ...

Purpose

Permanent Programme Manager required by our public sector client based in Essex. Reporting to Chief Executive level, you will be responsible for leading a large scale business change programme within the organisation, aimed at improving a broad level of services that are currently being provided to their stakeholder base. The programme costs are expected to be in the region of ?7m and you will hold overall management responsibility for a team of 50+ staff.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Programme Manager with a demonstrable background in delivering large scale business change to public sector organisations. You will ideally have APMP accreditation or equivalent experience and have a solid exposure to managing complex multi-agency partnerships in sensitive political environments.

?????????? A relevant degree and/or alternative professional qualification, or equivalent by experience. ?

?????????? Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

?????????? Can demonstrate a detailed theoretical knowledge and understanding of the technical, behavioural and contextual elements of major change management initiatives within large complex organisations, and can critically evaluate and develop them further as required.

?????????? Able to resolve highly complex issues at a strategic level in respect of: strategic analysis and planning, quality assurance and benefits realisation, budgetary control and resource management, communication, leadership and stakeholder management

?????????? Able to use discretion to resolve unexpected/non-routine problems and can identify when issues need to be escalated in respect of IT skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) ?

?????????? Has successfully implemented major change initiatives within a range of public sector or other large organisations.

?????????? Has significant experience of working with complex multi-agency partnerships and stakeholder groups, managing ambiguity and delivering organisations outcomes.

?????????? Has significant experience of working in a political environment, including working with elected Members.
